Its been a long offseason and I’m ready for the 2026 baseball season to begin.
As a Red Sox fan I was able to explore the annual Fenway Fest at Fenway Park to start re-acquainting myself with the sounds, smells and sights of Fenway while getting the opportunity to meet, talk to and hear from players, management and, most importantly, other fans.
This is also a great time to start figuring out any baseball travel plans for the upcoming season. I am lucky to have several minor league teams all within a couple of hours drive, including the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto AA affiliate), Portland Sea Dogs (Red Sox AA affiliate), Worcester Red Sox (Red Sox AAA affiliate), Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado AA affiliate).
My summer vacation plans will bring us to Montreal this year. Of course, there is no affiliated baseball in Quebec at this point, but there is a Frontier League team, the Trois Rivieres Aigles, who I have added to my list to see! Their stadium also houses the Fernand Bedard Baseball Museum.

The next adventure will be the annual BoSox Club visit to spring training…stay tuned
